Magic House Web

This project aims to be a hello world to web development and to be accessible to anyone who also enjoys Magic: The Gathering. It is a public project with the hopes that other Magic players would like to contribute.

Motivation

The idea was initially created in Kotlin using Android Studio. At the time, I was interested in understanding the general considerations for mobile development since I was in the process of interviewing for a Graphics Software Engineer and one of the “nice to have” was experience with mobile graphics.

After researching how to publish mobile applications, I thought it would be more accessible as a web application.

“Pay the One?” is homage to drawing cards with a Rhystic Study in play.

You can view the original Kotlin project repository on GitHub.

Roadmap

In general, I would like to add the following to the application at some point in the future:

  1. Card Information (set, rulings, etc…)
  2. History of Cards Viewed
  3. Saved or Favorite Cards
  4. Automated Roll Option
