Matthew McTaggart

Hi, I'm Matthew

I am software engineer with experience in the medical technology space. I have worked on image-guided intervention systems for bronchoscopy for both route planning and surgical procedures. Currently, I am researching and developing a copilot system for detecting, segmenting and classifying lung nodules for radiologists as a passion project. In general though, I enjoy designing and implementing software systems to automate tasks, create new workflows and represent data in a different way.

I have worked extensively in desktop development, algorithm development and parallel computing. However in recent times I have been focusing on web and mobile development to expand my knowledge into networked and distributed computing.

In my free time I enjoy brewing coffee and various teas, running and sports, drumming and music, video and board games.

If you would like to get in touch with me, feel free to email me or reach out to me on my social media. My projects are hosted on either GitLab or GitHub, feel free to visit them or event contribute!
